Focus of Working

The main focus of the group is fruit economics, including cost analysis related to farm profitability, evaluation of innovations in fruit production, and innovations addressing climate change and sustainability. Furthermore, the working group focuses on value chain analysis, assessment of organizational systems for fruit distribution and storage, and analysis of automatically generated data in the fruit sector.

Goals

The group aims to establish research cooperation based on the exchange of methodologies, and to discuss research ideas and results. It also seeks to develop a common project for funding, for example, a comparative analysis of the profitability of fruit production using jointly defined methods, such as the approach used in the Agri Benchmark network.

Cooperation with other Working Groups

The working group is open to cooperation with other working groups for the economic evaluation of their projects.
