Spray Application and Precision Technology in Fruit Growing
Focus of Working
Spraying fruit trees is a standard practice in integrated pest management (IPM) for both conventional and organic fruit growers to control plant diseases and insect pests. This Working Group focuses on all aspects related to spray applications, including optimizing spray deposition and minimizing spray drift. The group also addresses precision technologies, such as remote sensing, the use of UAVs, Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) mapping, and machine learning.
